It’s not very often in life when someone, or something, comes along and shakes things up. Brings you a million and one reasons to be happy, and then a reason to be sad. It’s not every day, where something like music, or a band, or a band member, touch you so much, for whatever reason, that you literally don’t know what you’d do without them or that thing. This, this ladies and gentlemen, is Anarbor. In the past three years that I’ve listened to them, they’ve given me and done so much for me. They brought my friends and I closer, they even provided me with new friends. They gave me a home away from home, a safe place and a solace where I could forget about every bad thing in my life for an hour at a time, and just get lost in their music. I feel like I’m saying goodbye to a family member here or something, but knowing that Adam is leaving the band breaks my heart. I fully understand why, and I think it’s great that he’s still close with the guys and that he’s so positive about his leave. And that he’s so positive about what he wants in life. I support that because, he deserves that. But I’d like to take a moment to thank not only Adam, but Anarbor as a whole for what they’ve brought me over the years. Countless memories, all of them good (even that time we locked our keys in the car just to hurry inside to see them). Countless sleepless nights spent listening to their music just to make myself feel better. I can’t say any other band, or group of people, have given me as much as these guys. Even without knowing it. And while the band will persist and move on without Adam, I still feel the need to say this. Thank you. All four of you for giving me what you have, and for bringing me some of the best friends in the world. Sami, Kayleigh, countless others. Adam’ll be missed, but I can’t wait for new Anarbor tunes, and to see what the future holds for this amazing, talented band. <3
